Susan Minuth Obituary

Resident of Aptos
Susan Kay Minuth, 62, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 28, 2012 at her home in Aptos, CA after battling cancer for 10 months. Her family and friends will miss her sunny, joyful, kind, sweet presence.
Sue was born in San Luis Obispo, CA to Tom and Betty Aldrich. She graduated from Colusa High School in 1968 and went on to obtain her accounting degree from Sacramento State University. She worked for Hutchinson and Bloodgood in Watsonville for 21 years, earning her CPA in 1995. Sue married Mike Minuth in 1972 and they were happily married for 40 years.
Sue taught aerobic dancing for many years. She loved spending time with her family, shopping, traveling, crafts with friends and planting flowers. Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Aldrich. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Mike Minuth; her father, Thomas Aldrich and stepmother Rose Lee; her brother Tom Aldrich, his wife BJ and their children Chris and Emily; her son, Mike Minuth Jr., his wife April and their children Lyndy, Matthew and Susan; her daughter Rebecca LeAnne and her children Jaden and Kaylee; along with her loving nieces and nephews.
Sue's memorial service will be held at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 2402 Cabrillo College Dr., Soquel, CA 95073 at 1PM on August 11th. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Hospice of Santa Cruz County at 940 Disc Dr., Scotts Valley, CA 95066.
