Dianne R. Souza
Mar. 14, 1946-Feb. 10, 2013
Resident of Santa Cruz
Dianne Souza passed away suddenly, but peacefully, from congestive heart failure with her family by her side. She leaves behind the love of her life, husband, Tony Souza. As well her children; Deborah Garcia (Patrick), Jay Mastilock (Leah), Marissa Souza, Lorraine Balidoy (Victor), Arland Souza (Kristine) and Red Donovan (Patti), grandchildren; Robert, Michael, Adrianna, A.J., Danielle, Marissa L., Nicole, Skipper, Josh, Lindsey, Austin, Dakota, 2 sisters; Charlene Day (Bob) and Lea Farr (Bruce), brother; Jim Sapp, brother-in-law; Mel Souza (Diana), and numerous other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Dianne was a Certified Medical Assistant and Case Manager for Palo Alto Medical Foundation for 20 years and retired in March 2012. She recently celebrated her 37th Wedding Anniversary. Being a
survivor, she had planned to volunteer at a new Breast Cancer Clinic.
Dianne's love of life, booming laugh, and sense of humor brought joy to everyone around her. Her compassion, bountiful love, and generosity will be sorely missed. Honoring Dianne's wishes, there will be no service. The family will have a small gathering to celebrate her life and honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The American Breast Cancer Foundation:
