Mike and I were roommates during our four years in high school. He once ate 16 McDonald's hamburgers on a dare. I was the little guy. He was the big guy. He and I were in the middle of every prank. He tried to get me into the Frosh Football squad, but the coach laughed me out. A great soul remains with us even though that great big body is gone for a while. See you soon, Brother but not too soon I hope...My prayers are all yours for a while...

Our heartfelt sympathy to Michael's family, friends and staff. We have all lost a wonderfully caring man. My experience was mainly professional but I counted him as my trusted friend too. Rest in Peace

What a great man and speaker. He so unselfishly gave his time to help promote our future leaders in the community. It was an honor to know him.

Michael was a leader and a joy to volunteer with. He was a dynamic counselor to many starting up and growing their business with his affiliation with SCORE the small business counseling service of the Small Business Administration (SBA).
When Michael entered a meeting or a room his smile seemed to lift everyone's spirits. He was always ready to help those in need be it a struggling new business or a start up effort to start a business.
He is missed by many including his SCORE colleagues.

I had the privilege of knowing Michael as a mentor at Score. He was so able in business and could transmit his skills to others effectively. I admired his character as I got to know more about his personal life. He was a great man! I am nourished by having known him. Blessings to his family. RIP

Mike and I were founding members of the Carmel Mission Kiwanis Club.
We worked many projects together and always enjoyed our service to the community.
Cindy my prayers are with you and your family. I will pause at 11 on Monday to pray the Lord's Prayer, Hail Mary and a Glory be to the Father. Mike's house is prepared.

Hope y'all don't mind but I have one more comment I'd like to addI was thing about Michael last night and remembering all the good times. I think the one I'll miss the most is sitting at the bar in the kitchen chatting with Michael as he fixed me one of his giant delicious omelets. These things were so big I could barely eat half of it. I would also be full the rest of the day. Going to really miss Michael and those Omelets.

I didn't get to visit with my brother in law but maybe once a year and it was always one of the highlights of my trip. I'm going to miss him very much. Stuart Rabourn.
