Robert (Bob) Goslin passed away Thursday March 7, 2013 at Watsonville Community Hospital after a brief illness. He was 83 years old.
Bob was born in Monrovia, California and lived in Southern California through much of his younger years. Bob started driving big rig commercial tanker trucks very young until he serviced his country in the US Army 2nd Infantry Division during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1953. He then moved to Watsonville and drove commercial truck for 35 years with Speas and American Foods on Walker Street.
During Bobs retirement, he enjoyed reading, cooking, old westerns, country music, and get togethers with family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
Bob is survived by his wife Patricia Goslin, children; Robert II (Annette) Goslin, Dale Goslin, John Goslin of Southern California, Ralph Goslin, Jackie (Joe) Anderson of Missouri, Cathy (Brock) Davenport of Aptos, Colleen Bugayong, Daniel Delozier, Tracy Delozier of Watsonville, Mark Delozier of Arizona, Sisters; Julie Strieter, Sally Whitehead, Pat Goslin, Brother Porter Whitehead of Southern California, 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Cindy Goslin, brothers; Jack Goslin, James Whitehead, sister Jeanette Brewster.
Please join the family in a Celebration of Life for Robert Hugh Goslin on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 12:00pm in the Pajaro Village Clubhouse on 739 Bronte Avenue, Watsonville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the SPCA or VFW of Watsonville.
