Wallace Klock Obituary

Wallace Houston Klock, III
Lifetime resident of Watsonville
Passed away at his home on May 25, 2012. He was 59. Mr. Klock was born in South San Francisco on November 30, 1952 to Carlo Trupiano and Berdella Klock. He was adopted and raised by his uncle and aunt, Wallace and Irna Klock. He had a passion for classic cars, especially Buicks, and loved to collect and restore them. He started his own detailing business when he was very young and was well known for his work from Sacramento down to Los Angeles in the classic car show circuit. He and his cars often made it to the pages and covers of Hot Rod Magazine and Street Machine Magazine. He also detailed the cars for the Police, Fire, and Sheriff's Department. Cars were his life and he was often seen cruising down the street in one of his classic cars that he restored himself. Besides his cars, he loved to listen to music, sing karaoke, and collect things such as die cast model cars, hats, pins, etc. Above all his grandchildren were his life and he loved them with all his heart. He had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed. There will never be another Wally Klock.
Mr. Klock is survived by his daughter, Sophina (Adrian Costillo) Klock; mother, Berdella Custodio; brothers, Corey, Benny J., Kenny, and Bud; sisters, Brenda, Jean, and Lindy; grandchildren, Alisa Marie Sanchez, Brandon Adrian Castillo, Adriana Mary Castillo, and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his adopted parents Wallace and Irna Klock.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9th at Twin Lakes Church, 2701 Cabrillo College Drive, Aptos, CA 95003 at 11 A.M. Arrangements were entrusted to Mehl's Colonial Chapel, Watsonville, CA.

The world will not be the same without you. You cared for everyone that you knew. You cars might not have been the biggest bruiser on "The Walk." But it still made a statement cruisin' down the street. Your music is what mattered most to you. We would hear the clean, crisp sound from your car a block away. Before we even saw you. We are better people because of what we learned from you, and the examples that you set. Godspeed our good friend.
