A memorial service will be held for Anna Adams-Bettencourt on Saturday at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3125 Park Ave, Soquel. Anna was born December 30, 1934, and died June 28, 2006 of esophageal cancer. She is survived by her daughters Dianna Wolfenbarger, Susan Bettencourt, Mary Andrako, Rose Swint, Gloria Bettencourt, and her son Steven Bettencourt. She also leaves her nineteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, her brother Bobby Adams, and her sisters Betty Adams and Shirley Rasey. Anna was a Santa Cruz resident for 55 years. She graduated from Santa Cruz High in 1952. Anna was well known for her zealous activities as a Jehovah's Witness for 49 years. She loved sharing the bible truths with people. She had tremendous concern for people and animals, and did what she could to help any in need.
