BARBARA AGGELOPOULOS Carnett Rash JANUARY 19, 1942 - JANUARY 17, 2013 Barbara Aggelopoulos Carnett Rash, born Jan. 19, 1942 in Joliet, IL, to George and Patricia Aggelopoulos, died Jan. 17 at her home in Livermore, CO, attended by her husband, CSU Prof. John Rash, her daughter, Patricia Ledesma-Carnett of Eastvale CA, and several loving and devoted family members and friends. Barbara was Educational Speech Pathologist in Pomona, CA for 20+ years. After retiring to Santa Fe, Barbara served on boards of NM ACLU, AAUW, and NOW. She promoted women's and children's rights, civil rights, and human rights. Barbara is survived by her husband, two brothers, Angelo and Nicholas Aggelopoulos, two sisters, Mary Mancuso and Marilyn Metros, her daughter, and two grandchildren, Taylor and Katelynd. She was preceded in death by her sister Rita Andrews. A "CELEBRATION OF A LIFE WELL LIVED" will be at 3pm, March 23, 3602 Terry Point Drive in Fort Collins, CO (970-482-2501). Donations in her name should be made to Esperanza Shelter for Battered Families, 2845 Aqua Fria, Santa Fe. Her husband is grateful and appreciative for all expressions of love and kindness for his loving and beautiful wife, Barbara.
