JOHN E. ALIRE John Alire, 86, of Santa Fe passed away peacefully on May 21, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Juanita and Francisco Alire, and daughter in law, Martha Alire. He is survived by his children, Steve, Cathy (Anthony), David (Marie), Kenneth (Cecilia), and Joan, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. John was a St. Michael's High School alum, served in the US Army and upon returning home, graduated from St. Michael's College. He was a retired teacher and coach. Being a man of deep Christian faith, a rosary will be recited on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 9:30 am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church with mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Carmelite Monastery, 49 Mt. Carmel Rd., Santa Fe, NM 87505. Anderson, Deanna Ruth  
DEANNA RUTH ANDERSON Deanna Ruth Anderson (Dee) passed away on May 14th from complications of a heart condition she had for many years. She was 64 years old. She moved to Santa Fe in the early 1980's, working as a florist at Jewelosco (later Albertson's.) Subsequently she was a manager of Schlotzsky's Sandwich Shop on Cerrillos Road for many years. She was born Deanna Ruth Crispin in Dayton, Ohio on February 15, 1952 to a family that had lived in Ohio and Pennsylvania for generations. She leaves behind a brother, Melvin Crispin of Kentucky, a beloved son, Jade Johnson, a daughter-in-law with whom she had a cherished relationship, two grand-daughters Joselyn and Maddie (when they were teens they worked with her at Schlotzsky's during the summer months) as weil as David Kilgore her trusted partner and friend for the past twenty years. We loved her quick tell-it-like-it-is Wit straight from the hip, straight from the heart and her kindness. She was a good and loyal friend who gave much to the world in a quiet way. As we continue on the River of Life we are in her love. inspired by her grace we wish her a blessed Bon Voyage on her journey. There will be a celebration/memorial of her life at the chapel on the property of George Wright, 3456 calle P'o Ae Pi, Santa Fe 87507. The service will begin at 11 a.m. on June 4th, however will gather for a light breakfast beginning at 9:30 AM at the main house. For further information contact David Kilgore at 505 913-1334.

ARTHUR B. ARAGÓN Arthur Benito Arag¢n, 87, crossed over to his eternal home on May 27, 2016. He was born on March 3, 1929 in Las Vegas, NM - one of 14 children born to Candelario and Epifania Arag¢n. Art was a lifelong educator and coach in the Santa Fe area who made a difference in the lives of many young children, but the role he cherished most was Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Art is survived by his beloved "wifey" of 61 years, Socorro Vigil Arag¢n; daughters Carla Arag¢n - husband Allen Lewis, Michelle Marmion - husband Danny, Dora Arag¢n Anaya, Contessa Serna - husband Steve, and Camille Arag¢n; Grandchildren Justin Marmion - wife Jules, Brittany Marmion, Miranda Anaya Romero - husband John, Art Anaya, Estevan, Marisol and Antonio Serna, Jordan, Alayna and Olivia Montoya; Great Granddaughter Jameson Marmion; Goddaughter Socorro Ojeda and her Mother Zulema, son Carlos Contreras and Grandson JJ Contreras. He is also survived by his only remaining sister Mary Quintana of Denver CO, sisters and brothers-in-law, countless nieces, and nephews. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 6th at Cristo Rey Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7th at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis, followed by Military Funeral Honors at 2:15 p.m. at the SF National Cemetery. JENNIE ISABEL CHAVEZ NOVEMBER 11, 1934 MAY 25, 2016 Jennie Isabel Chavez, 81, unexpectedly passed away peacefully in her home on May 25, 2016. Jennie was born in Santa Fe, NM and was a beloved wife, mom, sister, and grandmother. She was well known in the community and a treasurer of La Union Protectiva for 16 years. Jennie raised a family and enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jennie is preceded in death by her parents Pacifica and Adolfo Rodriquez and grandson Gabriel Jaramillo. Jennie is survived by her husband, Victor Chavez of 65 years; son Victor; son Mike (Debbie); daughter Vivian (Orlando); 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends. In Loving Memory of Joan S. Daw Joan was born on June 6, 1934, in New York City, to Florence Helen and Herman Joseph. She lived for the past 36 years amongst the ponderosa pine in her beautiful mountain home in Santa Fe, where she passed peacefully on May 22, 2016. Delora, Cesario "Cowboy"  
CESARIO "COWBOY" DELORA Cesario DeLora ,78, life long resident of Santa Fe, passed away Tuesday, May 24 surrounded by the love of his family. He lived his whole life on Upper Canyon Road, and was a member of Cristo Rey Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Isabel R. DeLora, and children Elizabeth DeLora, Matt DeLora (Marabella), Rose Dixon (Ed Little), Belinda Sanchez (Augustine); five grandchildren, Ashley, Curtis, Matthew, Mark Allen (Aimee), John Lucas, great grandson Isaac Matthew DeLora, brothers Vicente DeLora (Lena), Jose DeLora; sister Josie DeLora, and many nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents Vicente DeLora and Isabel "Nana" DeLora, brothers Pedro DeLora and Santiago "Satch" DeLora, and son-in-law Morris Dixon. Cesario was a fine cabinet maker, and worked many years for Puertas de Santa Fe and First Baptist Church of Glorieta, producing custom doors and cabinets. His artistry can still be seen in many areas of old Santa Fe. Cesario's passion was raising goats and for many years he sold his goat milk and queso daily to delighted customers. A man of few words, he worked long hours, despite suffering rheumatoid arthritis diagnosed in his thirties. Never complaining, Cesario was known for his gentle manner and he was loved and respected by all who knew him. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, June 2 at 12 noon at Cristo Rey Church, with a funeral mass at 1 pm; followed by a reception at Crispin Hall at St. Francis Cathedral. Honorary Pallbearers are Isaac Matthew DeLora, Niko DeLora and Wyatt Duran Pallbearers are Augustine Sanchez, Ed Little, Curtis Dixon, Matthew DeLora, Mark Allen DeLora, John Lucas DeLora, Santiago DeLora and Enrique DeLora.

Gallegos, Albert Anthony  
ALBERT A. GALLEGOS Albert Anthony Gallegos, a lifelong resident of New Mexico passed away peacefully in his home in Santa Fe, NM with his wife by his side on May 20, 2016. Albert was a beloved husband, father, and brother. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on February 12, 1940 and resided in Albuquerque, Taos, and Santa Fe during his lifetime. He owned and operated a successful business in Insurance, Real Estate, and Tax Accounting for over 45 years in the Albuquerque area. Albert attended St. Mary's Catholic School and the University of New Mexico. He was a very active and devoted member of the Alumnae of St. Mary's Catholic School. Three of Albert's most cherished interests were New Mexico history, his heritage, and genealogy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Gallegos; and one sister, Lillian Chavez. Albert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ginger Walker Gallegos; his two daughters, Monique Diekroeger of Atlanta, GA and Janelle Moltz of Denver, CO; three grandchildren; his sister, Charlene Montoya of Dallas, TX; and three brothers, Robert Gallegos of Santa Fe, NM, Gilbert Gallegos of Tega Cay, SC, and Paul Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM. JUDD, ARTHUR EDWARD  
ARTHUR EDWARD JUDD Arthur Edward Judd, age 92, a resident of Santa Fe, NM passed away May 27, 2016. He was born February 17, 1924 to Florence King Judd and Arthur Joseph Judd. Arthur is preceded in death by his parents Florence and Arthur Judd. He is survived by his brother Allen Judd of Buffalo, NY, daughter 's Wendy Kurkowski of Westminster, CO and Heidi Vendegna of Santa Fe, NM, grandsons Matthew Kurkowski of Thornton, CO and Clinton Vendegna of Westminster, CO and great- grandson Cayson Kurkowski of Thornton, CO. Art enlisted in the Army Air Corp in 1943 and flew 66 missions as the bombardier in WWII. Art attended Syracuse University after the war and graduated with a degree in Engineering in 1951. Art was married to Betty Jones in 1952. Art worked in the aerospace industry in Washington state and California before moving to New Mexico. In the early 1970's the family moved to Santa Fe, and Art established D-CO Inc., a Security system company. Art volunteered for the Sierra club and lead hikes for over 30 years. He taught wilderness survival and mushrooming at Santa Fe community college through the 2015 year. Art was many things, a father and grandfather, a ski patrolman and instructor, a poet, a wine connoisseur, and a friend to many. LANCASTER, ROBERT V.  
ROBERT V. LANCASTER Robert V. Lancaster, age 95, a resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away May 25, 2016. He was born in New Castle, Delaware to Pearl G. and Vaughan C. Lancaster and married Serena W. Lancaster (Nee Weggenman), June 15, 1942 in Wilmington, Delaware. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Vaughan and Pearl Lancaster, son Peter L. Lancaster and wife Serena W. Lancaster. He is survived by his daughter Deirdre Densmore (Owen), son Kevin Lancaster, daughters Meghan Lancaster and Rue Boykin (Dan), grandson's Timothy Densmore (Meribeth) and Gillian Densmore, and great-grandsons Liam and Quinn Densmore. Robert worked on the Manhattan Project, received an M.A. from the University of Delaware, a Divinity degree from the Philadelphia Divinity School and a PhD from Syracuse University. He was an Episcopal Priest; a Vicar of Eastern W.A. (1955 1960), a Professor of English at the State University of New York at Morrisville, a Mason and a member of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in Santa Fe. He was known for his beautiful singing voice, was an avid reader, book collector and photographer. He enjoyed traveling, made several trips to Europe and especially loved Italy. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in Santa Fe, N.M.
