CINDI J. QUIRK JANUARY 2, 1954 - NOVEMBER 10, 2012 Cindi conquered cancer valiantly fighting effects of radiation, hyperbarics, compromised immune system and frightening ER trips since 2001. The death of son John Bassett last March devastated Cindi. She sought to change her life, give of herself and extend more love especially to her daughter Margeaux, Adam Lujan and their children Sevannah, Abelino and Adelina. Cindi's big heart tried but the physical damage was already too great. Recently in a dream John escorted Cindi to a house with many rooms, filled with beloved objects, colors, animals and serenity. She became radiantly happy. Her crippling pains are forever gone and Cindi's smile and wit warm our hearts. Her sisters Karen Kopel, Donna Wade and Lynn Strish, brothers Greg and John Quirk, their spouses and children know Cindi has found a kinder place. We all miss you Cindi. We love you even more but grief pales knowing you are now free. To our care, she leaves her artful flower wreaths, crocheted scarves, paper-crafts, and colored-pencil sketches so finely made. Join friends and family to remember Cindi, son John Bassett McGee (07/27/1984 - 03/05/2012) and her brother James Robert Quirk (10/23/1957 - 07/19/2006) at Noon on Sunday, December 2nd at Back Street Bistro. While there were enormous difficulties in the their lives, we will remember the best times together. Share food, drink, and crazy, sad, silly, tender, funny stories. Celebrate their lives and our friendships as we help Margeaux McGee-Lujan, her family and each other through our loss.
