Elinor Bickley

ELINOR MILLS BICKLEY MARCH 21, 2013 Elinor (Ellie) was born in New York City in 1934. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ellie deeply loved God, her family and her country. She was the first woman in her family to go to college and received a BA from the University of Arizona and a Master's degree from Boston University. Ellie had an entrepreneurial spirit and started a number of small businesses over the years including Christmas photos with Santa and Ellie's village of manufactured homes. She was also a radio host for a local program called "The Right Side." She and her husband Peter lived in Pojoaque with their llamas for 33 years. She passed away on March 21 at the home of her daughter in Boulder Colorado. Ellie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Peter Bickley, daughter Grace Cary Bickley of Los Angeles CA and daughter Evelyn (Twinky) Bickley of Boulder CO. Her son Peter Bickley III preceded her in death. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Julia Bickley of Boulder, Abby Zeltser, Elana Zeltser and Joseph Zeltser of Los Angeles. In addition, she is survived by her sisters Marion Mills and Louisiana Longwell both of Santa Fe NM and brother George Mills of St. Paul Minnesota and their beloved children and a large extended family.
