BILL TCHERNESHOFF Bill Tcherneshoff passed away on Thursday morning, December 29, 2016. Bill was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1941. After serving his country in the Air Force, he moved his family to Santa Fe in 1972, where he founded Santa Fe Bronze and became well known in the art world. Bill was a pilot and loved to fly. He was active in his model airplane club, and was instrumental in building hangers for airplane owners in Santa Fe. His greatest joys in his later years were his grandsons - he thought they walked on water, and they knew that he did! Bill is survived by his wife Julia, son Bob (wife Allison), daughter Nancy, three grandsons: Michael (wife Rae), DeMarquis (wife Angel), Curtis, and soon-to-be-born great-granddaughter, Cooper. For those wishing to pay their respects to the family, there will be an open house at the Tcherneshoff home, 17 Emily Road on Sunday afternoon, January 1, from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301 Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301 www.dav.org

I just heard that Bill passed away. Julia, Bob, Nancy and families, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this time. I just lost my mom in Nov. 2015 and my dad in Apr. 2016. Bill will always hold a special place in my heart. He gave this girl with no foundry experience a chance and trained me in wax work and mold making. Santa Fe Bronze was my home away from home. My condolences to you all.

Uncle Bill was so loving, comical, business minded, family oriented and loved his Julia so much. We wrote from time to time and he always expressed his love for Dad and it meant so much to Dad and me. Though it is so hard to lose those we love, we can take solice in the wonderful feeling that he has brothers, a sister and Dad welcoming him home. My prayers are with Julia and you kids and my sincere heartfelt love is with you all, today and always.
