DANIEL WATERMAN Obituary

DANIEL (DANNY) E. WATERMAN Danny was born on December 28, 1970 to Gloria Waterman and Joe Tapia in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He entered into internal life at the age of 47 on Friday, February 9, 2018, after a short illness. He was employed at St. Vincent Hospital for 12 years. He was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He loved music, dancing and followed many local bands. Danny was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Lakers fan. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers: Dolores Waterman and Terry Tapia; Uncles: Gene and John Waterman, Arthur and Joe Garcia and Frank Herrera. His is survived by his parents, girlfriend Margaret Jaramillo, Uncle Mike Waterman, Aunts: Emma Gonzales, Louisa (Islen) Trujillo, Mary Tapia, Jessie Padilla, Lilly (Santos) Quintana, Aggie Herrera, Jenny Padilla, and Mary Jane Benavidez. He is also survived by numerous relatives and close friends. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 7:00pm, with a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11:00am at St Anne Catholic Church. I met Dan at La Familia Medical Center. He worked with us in the Diabetes Education Program. The patients loved him. He was an inspiration to us all.
We laughed a lot together as we worked towards helping each other meet our health care goals. I will miss Dan.
May his love continue in your lives in the memories you have made.
I am honored and blessed to have known Dan. He was truly a blessing in my life and in the life of so many patients he worked with, and I will miss him. My condolences

My condolences to Dan's family. n thank you Margaret for keeping me informed on his progress.,unfortunately we lost Mr Dan.This man was a great friend of mine and both Tequila Rain and bandolero., Danny just loved music, n never had anything bad to say about any bands , he always had a great smile that was addicting ., I will truly miss him. we always knew Dan would be there till closing. He was a peaceful soul with lots of friends, because of his warm hearted nature. I never saw him angry ., he was very sincere n one of the true friends I could count on one hand. mom n dad you sure did a great job of raising your son. Dear Danny's family. I had the pleasure of meeting Danny when he was a teenager and still in school. He came to work with us at LJS. He was so cheerful and respectful all the time, such a joy. We will miss him dearly.

Gloria, Joe and Margaret my heart is broken about the loss of Danny. I think of you guys everyday and how hard it is to cope with the loss of your loved one. I will miss Danny terribly as he was there for me in some of my most difficult times. I am sure that Danny is reunited with Pat reminiscing and singing all the KISS songs and telling each other "Same old Same old". Danny now has the biggest dance floor with the music from the angels to dance to. God needed another angel and he chose Danny.

Wow. I was truly blessed by God when he let me cross paths with Daniel. He had a tremendous impact on me because of the kind, compassionate, soul he is for eternity. I go to st. Ann's church and know Danny. I would see him everyweek go in and get things ready for masses. He showed me the way we should serve God. My boy Thomas loves to help serve as Danny loved to serve with the masses thanks for showing him and me how i want to serve God. We will see you again some time. Dan was a beloved friend and prayer partner. We were all known as the "Pleve" of St. Anne Parish, 6 p.m. mass. Dan was a compassionate and loving person, as he displayed such a love and concern for Gerald. Together they composed and sang the cake song. Dan will be greatly missed for his friendship and love that he showed everyone he met. We'll keep on "Rockin" Dan. Our love and prayers will continue for Gloria and Joe. We are thankful for the time God loan Dan to us.

Danny will be dearly missed, I`ve known Danny for many years at SFCC RTC, we will miss seeing him leaving the gym every evening and greeting us with his great smile and amazing personality. Danny was an amazing soul that our Lord felt heaven needed at this time. Our prayers for his Mom & Dad to get through this difficult time but knowing they have an amazing Angel up above, we all do. Danny will be truly missed.
