Mary Lou Stout Age 71, Santa Fe, on May 3, 2012 God saw her getting tired, A cure was not to be. He wrapped her in his loving arms And whispered 'Come with me' She suffered much in silence Her spirit did not bend. She faced her pain with courage, Until the very end. She tried so hard to stay with us But her fight was not in vain, God took her to his living home And freed her from the pain Author Unknown She leaves behind her children, Agnes Ortiz (Life partner Laura), Mary Louise Encinias and husband Joe, Matthew Stout and wife Joanie. Grandchildren whom she loved and adored very much: Lawrence Ortiz (fiancé Geraldine), Katrina Ortiz, Tiffani Encinias, Joseph Encinias, Mikayela Stout, Natalia Stout and great-grandson Caleb Irvin Ortiz. Mother Petrita Valdez of Nambe. Brothers: Nazario Valdez (Consuelo), Manuel Valdez (Judy), Lipio Valdez (Fabie). Sisters; Lillian Soto, Olivia Trujillo (Joe), Grace Romero (Florencio), Martha Valdez and Lisa Hernandez (Sergio). Other family members; too many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends to count. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years Irvin "Buzz" Stout and her father Rogelio Valdez of Nambe. All services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nambe starting with a visitation which will take place on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 6 p.m. with a rosary following at 7 p.m. A mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 10:00am with a reception to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall in Pojoaque. Pallbearers: Joseph Encinias, Lawrence Ortiz Jr., Edward Valdez, Gabe Salazar, Sergio Hernandez and Joe Trujillo Jr. Honorary Pallbearers: Katrina Ortiz, Tiffani Encinias, Mikayela Stout, Natalia Stout and Caleb Ortiz. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude's Children's research hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis TN, 38101.
