Robert "Bob" Wolf Robert "Bob" Wolf, 9/13/1940 - 12/31/2012, passed away on December 31st after complications arising from double knee replacement surgery. Bob was 72, but began his life on Friday the 13th back in September 1940. As with anyone born on that date you might suspect their life to be filled with strange luck and his was. We always said his guardian angel had to be on his toes and try to keep up with Bob and Bob was always rescued just in the nick of time up until this past New Year's Eve. Bob always said his greatest accomplishments were his children and their wonderful families; however he will probably be most remembered for co-founding The Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company (i.e. Original American Spirit Cigarettes). He was also very proud of his life with his wife Donna, their dogs and their horses. Bob Wolf is survived by Donna Wolf, wife, in Placitas, NM, brother, Rudy Wolf and wife, Suzie, in Dillsburg, PA, son, Lance Wolf and wife, Lorna, in Breckenridge, CO, daughter, Heather Wolf-Espinoza and husband, Marvin, in Santa Fe, stepdaughter, Leah Manning and husband, David, in Santa Fe, stepdaughters, Reagan Waters and Erika Adams of Lawrence, Kansas, and his grandchildren: Melinda Espinoza, Charlotte Wolf, Nick, Ivy, Maleah, Sophia, Amaya, Marwin, and Manuel (with Rayette). Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph Wolf and Marion Sulzer Wolf, of Pittsburgh PA. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 7th at from 5 - 7 p.m. and a Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Tuesday, January 8th at 11:30 a.m. at McGee Memorial Chapel. A reception will be held at the Eagles following the service. Please bring stories or special memories to share. Bob was writing a book about his life and his dream was to see it published. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the publication efforts set up to make this dream a reality.
