My condolences to the Bertram family. I remember Sam from Kaune school & part of high school. I remember eating hamburgers at his dad diner & also having a crush on him in 5th grade. My prayers are with all of you.

I am truly saddened by Sam's death. My ex-husband Craig Schuler and I were very good friends with Sam throughout our high-school years. We also maintained friendships with he and Sandy for many years after until we left the area. Craig had intended to see Sam when we were there in September for our class reunion. However, Craig had a heart attack and some surgery to install stents. Consequently, his health prevented from seeing Sam or Sandy. My prayers are with all of you.
