JULIA B. VIGIL March 29, 1924 - July 21, 2014 Julia B. Vigil, 90, entered into eternal life July 21, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband Ignacio Vigil, daughter-in-law DeAnn Vigil, sister Mary Lee Lehman, brother Seth Baldwin and sisters-in-law Anna Maria Perea and Valentina Ortiz. She is survived by her sons: David (Kathy) Vigil of St. Johns, Florida; Joseph Vigil of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Paul (Terri) Vigil of Mora, New Mexico, daughters: Marie (Randy) Castillo of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Tisha (Mario) Maes of Lamy, New Mexico and Martha Vigil of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Julia is also survived by her grandchildren: Andrea Padilla of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Michael (Amanda) Padilla of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Lilliann Vigil of St. Johns, Florida; Christopher Vigil of St. Johns, Florida; Julian Vigil of St. Johns Florida; Jessica (Javier) Castenada of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Jerrin Sosa of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Julie (Frenando) Vigil of Phoenix, Arizona; Andrea (Matthew) Tyson of Germany; Darlene (Felipe) Lopez of Japan; Xavier Vigil of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Ben Vigil of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Brian Maes of Lamy, New Mexico; Mark Maes of Lamy, New Mexico; Zen Vigil of Mora, New Mexico; River Vigil of Mora, New Mexico; Anthony (Sharon) Padilla of Santa Fe, New Mexico; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Julia Vigil was a lifelong Santa Fe resident. She attended Loretto Academy and graduated from Santa Fe High School. She was also a lifetime member of Cristo Rey Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, at Berardinelli Family Funeral Service at 5 pm, with a rosary following at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 24, at Cristo Rey Church at 11 am. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 pm. Pallbearers will be: Anthony Padilla Jr., Brian Maes, Michael Padilla, Xavier Vigil, Mark Maes and Jerrin Sosa.
