ALBINO AL MONTA¥O November 19, 1940 - August 20, 2014 Albino "Al" Monta¤o from La Cienega passed away after a lengthy illness. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Mary; sons, Gene and Leonard; daughter-in-law, Orn; granddaughter, Hanna; brother, Richard; sisters: Elena Monta¤o, Judy Spencer, Lupe Nattkemper, Mary Breen, Vi Ortiz, Louise Jackson, Erlinda Hiscock and many nieces and nephews who loved him. Al proudly served his Country in the Army as a Medic form April 16, 1962 to December 8, 1965. Al attended two years of college prior to serving his country. He worked for the State of New Mexico Vital Statistics and Statistics for 25 years. He was a loving husband and father, he designed and built his own home, he loved to travel, collecting cars and he enjoyed sharing stories from days past. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 5 to 6 at Berardinelli Family Funeral Service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 10 am, at the San Jose Church in La Cienega with burial to follow at the La Cienega Cemetery.
