Ted Springer

TED SPRINGER On April 17, 2011, Ted Springer, 57, of Santa Fe passed away peacefully at home from a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his father, Ted W. Springer; and sister, Peggy Springer. He is survived by the love of his life of 27 years, Helen Vigil; sons, Mark Springer and Matt Springer (Michelle); mother, Jane Springer; brother, Tom Springer (Jennifer) all of Santa Fe. Grandchildren, Isabella Springer and David James Springer; nieces: Jessica Springer, Melissa Springer, Krystal Hendricks; nephews, Theodore Springer and Dominic Montoya. Ted was a 1971 graduate of St. Michael's High School. He graduated from NMSU with a Bachelors degree in Political Science. He worked many years for the N.M. Highway Dept. Ted was an outstanding athlete, a great listener, full of wisdom, sarcastic, yet philosophical, very understanding and always welcomed everyone with open arms, heart, and mind. Above all, he was an excellent father and loved his family. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church.
