DUANE ALAN WITT Duane Alan Witt born December 2, 1971 passed away peacefully on October 23, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Duane was born and raised in Santa Fe, NM and graduated from Christian Life Academy in 1991. He worked closely with his Father and brothers owning and operating Capital Scrap Metals and Towing Inc. Duane took pride in his Towing Company Capital Towing and could be seen on any given day helping strangers or friends who may have been stranded alongside the road. Anyone who has come across him in time of need describe him as generous, kind, a lifesaver, and a hero ready to help day or night. Duane married Debra on July 19, 2008 and was devoted to her as much as she was devoted to him. They traveled side by side not often without each other and lived life to its fullest from the day they met. Duane enjoyed spending time with his countless friends, getting artwork on his body of as many horror movie characters possible, or going out to eat and catching up on old times with friends and family. His stories were many and were the funniest things one has ever heard. He loved spending time with his nephews and nieces talking or playing. He loved them dearly as they loved him. Duane is survived by his loving Wife Debra, parents Robert and Clara Witt, brothers Brian Witt and wife Barbara, Steve Witt and Wife Charlotte, Father and Mother in Law Richard and Mary Rivera, Brother in Law Martin Rivera and wife Audie, Sister in law Karen Hinds and husband Bret.
