JUAN ALEJANDRO ALEX CONTRERAS MAY 31, 1991 - MARCH 19, 2013 Juan Alejandro "Alex" Contreras, 21, journeyed to rest in the arms of the Lord ended March 19, 2013. He was born May 3, 1991 in El Paso Texas and raised in Santa Fe and Stanley, NM. Juan completed his high school at the SER Academy in 2009. He worked at the Buffalo Thunder Resort and more recently at the job he loved - the NM House of Representatives. Juan was a good artist, enjoyed music and loved helping his younger brother do his homework. Alex is survived by his parents, Socorro Ojeda and Nick Contreras; brother, Carlos; grandmother, Zulema Tarin Ojeda; his beloved Stephanie Romero; Tarin family of Juarez Mexico; Contreras family of El Paso, Texas; extended family - the Aragon Arthur and Socorro Carla and Allen; Michelle and Danny; Dora and Michael, Contessa and Steve; and Camille and Donald. Many cousins and friends. Serving as pallbearers: Uncle Carlos Contreras, Brother Carlos Contreras, Michael Anaya, Robert Anaya, Arthur Anaya, JD Marmion, Robert Payton and Joshua Ezell. A Rosary will be held at Rosario Chapel on Friday 3/22/13 at 7 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Santa Fe, NM with Father Tri officiating on Saturday 3/23/13. Interment will follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been opened at the Guadalupe Credit Union under "Alex" Juan Contreras.
