Blossom G. Krivonak passed away Sept. 18, 2010 at her longtime residence. She was born in Sumner, Illinois on Aug. 13, 1927 to Guy and Ida Fiscus. Blossom was preceded in death by both parents, her husband George P. Krivonak, her sisters Madge and Ruth, and her beloved son, Grant. She is survived by her daughters Kim and Kandy, their husbands, and her grandchildren Ian, Kathryn, Natalie and Brian.
Blossom obtained her Real Estate license in 1968, and opened her own office "Blossom Realty" in 1972. Real Estate was more than an occupation to Blossom-it was her calling. Through her dedication and mentoring, she cultivated lifelong friends and helped many families find their dream homes. Her desire for helping others was what came first. Calling the "Friendly Office for Blooming Good Results" will be more than simply missed. Santa Maria and Orcutt has lost a bit of heritage as Blossom is no longer with us, but has gone to be with our Lord.
Blossom Krivonak was a familiar face in the Santa Maria community. As an active member of Orcutt Presbytarian Church, she lifted the spirits of many through her lovely flower arrangements. She possessed a vivacious and vibrant spirit; smiling even in rough times. Blossom belonged to Altrusa International for several years and was active in their literacy campaign. She also served on Meals on Wheels and Santa Maria Beautiful. Blossom's true passion was gardening and many will remember her for her beautiful flowers, forever in bloom.
Memorial Service will be held Sat. Oct. 2nd 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Orcutt Presbyterian Church, 993 Patterson Road, Orcutt. Fellowship to follow at Wedaa Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Blossom's memory to Marian Hospice, 506 E. Plaza Drive, Suite 1, Santa Maria, CA 93454.
