Clara Barayuga Obituary
Clara Barayuga passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the age of 80 in Clovis, California.
She was born in Oklahoma City, OK on June 6, 1930 and came to California in 1952. She met Mariano "Skippy" and they married that same year. She lived in Santa Maria from 1952 to 1998, when she moved to Clovis. While in Santa Maria, she worked at Columbia Records and the District Attorney's Office. She was devoted to caring for Skippy for many years. She loved to cook and crochet, and was great at both. We love you Mom and you are going to be missed by all those whose lives you touched. She leaves behind her Son and Daughter-in-law, Nick and Kathy Barayuga, and her Daughter and Son-in-law, Lauri and Paul Mariscal, grandchildren, Jeffrey Barayuga, Jason Mariscal, Jeremy Mariscal, Jamie Mariscal, Jennifer Barbosa, and great-granddaughter, Justine Mariscal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mariano D. Barayuga, and her grandson, Kyle J. Barayuga.
Visitation will be at Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held at Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Santa Maria Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary, Crematory and Memory Gardens.
