Dystiny was a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice. I had the pleasure of hearing her sing at our talent show in school. Her song was to send a message to everyone that "we" are one and that we should all accept each other for who we are. No judging but embracing each other. Every time she sang her song "We" I told her she brought tears to my eyes not only because her voice was beautiful but because her soul was too. I am saddened by her tragic death. I pray for her and her family. She often spoke of her love for her brothers, mother and grandmother. Peace be with you all.

You don't know me but Bro. Bloom was our minister in Waco for a while. When I saw this on his Face Book it broke my heart. She is such a lovely young lady and I know she will be missed. I thought of your family today & prayed for God love to reach down & cover you with his peace. I will continue to remeber you in my prayers.

I had the joy of spending a lot of time with Dystiny when she was 10 years old. Her eyes sparkled when she sang Christian songs and her voice was like an angel. Boy did she like milky way bars, stylish clothes and Mariah Carey :)I will always remember the times we shared together. My heart goes out to her grandma right now, she loved and cared for Dystiny since she was a baby. Your in my thoughts Kathy!

My prayer for Dystinys family is to take comfort and to be confident in the Lord and know that one day we will all be reunited. Our sorrow here is but for a little while but our rejoicing will be forever when we all gather in the heavenly realm and see our Savior Jesus. Her time on Earth may have been short but she touched alot of people with her smile and her joy.
