Edward Morales Obituary
December 17, 1965 - November 1, 2010
We mourn the loss of Edward John Morales, Jr. who passed away in the comfort of his home in San Tan Valley, Arizona on November 1, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his son Michael Edward Morales who resides in San Diego, California; his mother Carmen Fredrickson who resides in San Tan Valley, Arizona; brother Ruben Morales, sister-in-law Brenda Morales; niece Jessica Morales; nephews: AJ Morales, Matthew Morales and Brandon Morales who reside in Santa Maria, California.
A devoted father, son, brother and friend; Edward lived life to the fullest and expressed so much love for his family and friends. He took pride in his work and had an abundance of energy in whatever he did. Never did he quit, no matter what the circumstances were.
Edward was born in Barstow, California and from there the family moved to Lompoc, California. From Lompoc they moved to Bandon, Oregon then back to Santa Maria, California when he was a Junior in High School. A Reghetti High School graduate, Edward participated in football and wrestling; football being his favorite.
As a child and through his adult life, Edward had a firm belief in God and knew he was going to be in a better place. In the last two days of his life he would say, "I want to go Home".
We will miss his great smile, singing voice and how he made us laugh so much. He was an amazing and courageous young man. It was hard to see him go. Family and friends were with him to the end. He never wanted us to leave. Everyday he would tell us he loved us and his last words were "I Love You" as we stood at his bedside.
Services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 in Santa Maria at St. Louis de Montfort Parish.

Dear Carmen, Ruben and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of Edward.
You are all having to bear losing yet another son and brother. Now, we must remember that he is in a better place,
along with our other children. I am so
glad that we met way back in 1984 and will continue to support you. Blessings and strength.
