Efren Ramirez Obituary
Efren Ramirez, Jr., a longtime Guadalupe resident, passed away in San Luis Obispo October 2nd at the age of 31 following a boating accident in Morro Bay. He was born in Bakersfield and moved to this area as a child. He was employed by Guadalupe Coolers as a maintenance person. Efren enjoyed life to the fullest and had a passion for fishing, which he was doing at the time of the accident. He also loved to barbeque and spending quality time with his loving family. One of his biggest pleasures in life was being able to accompany his son to wrestling tournaments. Efren was loved and will be missed by all!
He is survived by his sons Brandon and Andrew Ramirez of Santa Maria; his daughter, Jasmine Ramirez of Santa Maria; his mother, Conrada De La Garza of Santa Maria; his brother, Ernesto Zamudio of Santa Maria; his sisters, Subrina Ramirez and Angel Zamudio of Guadalupe and Amanda De La Garza of Santa Maria; his grandmothers, Rosa Ramirez and Candelaria Hernandez both of Bakersfield; his uncle, Jose Hernandez of Santa Maria; his girlfriend and mother of his child, Ruby Fierro of Guadalupe, his brother in law, Julian Jaime of Guadalupe. He also leaves behind many good friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A visitation will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1775 S. Thornburg, Santa Maria Thursday, October 7th from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at the church Friday October 8th at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at the Guadalupe Cemetery. There is a memorial fund at Rabobank. Account number 9461803737.

I met Block at delta School! he was soo cool we liked to clown alot cause i was from Santa Maria and he was from Guadalupe, i would tell him watever cacalupe! LOL we would laugh he would write me lil Santa hate notes and stick them in my books and stuff. He was a really good hearted, lay back guy i was blessed to have met him RIP Efren
