Kenneth Muse Obituary
Mr. Kenneth F. Muse, Sr., age 73, passed away in Santa Maria December 3rd. He was a longtime resident of this area and was a native of Oklahoma. He was a communications technician and worked for Quintron Systems and at Vandenberg Air Force Base before retirement. He had a passion for racecars and in the 60's and 70's he raced at the Santa Maria Speedway. He was a Nascar fan. His other enjoyment was fishing.He was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #1745.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Muse, Jr. of Imperial, Ca; his daughter, Catheryn Smith of Santa Maria; his sister, Patricia Fowler of Sunnyvale, Ca.; and his grandchildren:Jennifer Muse of Santa Maria, Jacob Smith of of Lompoc and Matthew Smith of Santa Maria. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers.
The family would like to give special thanks to Vikki Salem and Dave DeArcos for their kindness and care they gave Kenneth and also Central Coast Kidney Disease Center.
A funeral service will be at Lori Family Mortuary, 915 E. Stowell Road, Santa Maria, Friday, December 10th at 1:00 P.M.
The family suggests that those with interest consider research about being an organ donor.

My sons best friend in the world! God Bless all of those that mourn Kens death and keep you strong. Keep the memories of fishing, camping, and the love he has given to all. There will be a potluck at the Eagles #1745 in the social room for friends or family of Kens on Saturday at 2 P.M. Dec.11th to pay tribute to Kens Life.

Ken:
You and Gerry were like second parents to me and were always there in need. I was 11 years old when we met so it has been 49 years of close friendship. I know you are together again and know that both of you are camping and fishing already. I will miss you and all the good times we all had together.
