Mary Kennedy Obituary

Mary Virginia Elizabeth Kennedy
1923-2010
After a battle with cancer, Mary passed away peacefully on November 7, 2010 in her home, with her family by her side.
Mary was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 8, 1923 in a time when things were hard. She married David Kennedy and settled in Ojai, California to raise her family of four. Mary became a LVN Nurse for Acashia Retirement Home in Ojai for 21 years.
Mary was a loving and caring person who never thought of herself. Family and friends always came first with her. Mary touched everyone's heart, even those who were not related to her. She was a great mother and wife and she always had the right thing to say to bring you peace. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and warm heart that flowed out of her. Mary worked until she was 83 years old.
Mary is survived by her sons: David Kennedy of Ojai, California and John Kennedy of Montana; daughter Leslie Easel of Oregon; grandkids: Jennifer, Nathan, Brandon, Nicholas and Lynnai; and great-grandkids: Tannor, Mason, Sawyer, Austyn, Matilyn and Colten.

We will all miss her, may she rest in peace.

Funeral Services will be on November 19, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Magner-Maloney Funeral Home.
Arrangements are in the care of Magner-Maloney Funeral Home and Crematory. Sympathy notes and words of support may be expressed at www.magnermaloney.com.

Mary was a sweet person; good neighbor. I hated to move away when I did, but I thought of her often. She always had kind things to say about everyone. She will be missed. May she rest in peace. Jackie
