For those that knew my grandmother for the person she was they would know she was a kind and loving person. No matter if she traveled abroad or stayed in the states she was friendly to all people and open to listen, and give advice. She gave her time at the humane society and helped with elderly where she could until she could no longer do it herself. I am thankful that I made the choice to get to know her be friends with her and love her all these years. She told me more than once that she had "no regrets" that she "had lived a full life" and was thankful for all she had done, saw and had in her lifetime. She could talk and tell stories of times with family and friends for hours when asked plus had the heartfelt laugh to go with it. I am thankful to have had a grandmother like her who stood by me through ups and downs, who I know knew exactly how I feel about her lovingly and as my best friend who I will miss very deeply. You never know what life will bring you each day...and knowing people for who they are is most important.

For those who knew grandma for the person she was they know that she is/was a loving and caring woman. She was not only giving to new people that came into her life, but she gave her time to the humane society and at the nursing home to those people in supplying meals..helping where she could. In the many many travels of her life time all over the world she would laugh and tell stories of all the wonderful times and very thankful of every trip. She told me more than once that she had no regrets, that she had lived a "full life" seen and done "just about everything" and glad that she was able to do all of them. She would talk of the holiday gatherings with her family over the years in the past, and the big Christmas tree she would put up, smile and just sit and think to herself with a comforting thought. To her, she was blessed, and I am blessed to have had a grandmother like her, taken the choice to get to know her and have a loving frienship with her all these years and have told her many times how much she ment to me and that I love her.
