Philo Heigh Nicholson
Born October 7, 1940 in La Habra, CA; Died of a massive heart attack November 12, 2010.

Even though weve lived far away for most of my life I have only good memories of Uncle Philo. I want to say it fortifies my heart to know that Philo was 100% sure of his real future even though he nor anyone could have predicted this untimely tragedy in this system of things.
Mary, our prayers are now with you and all those that will miss Philo so much. Our families love goes out to you.

Uncle Philo, I am going to miss you more than words can say. I will always remember the smile on your face, the Sunday BBQ's at your place and the love and caring you showed your entire family each and every day! I am thankful my kids got to meet you and see for themselves what an awesome and loving uncle you truly were. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten!!!

Sorry to hear about Philo, way back in the 60's we were best friends sharing all the fun two young single guys liked to do. Best memories were our trips to Boulder Creek and the fun time we had there. Over the years we drifted apart, but occationally those fun memories crept back and always brought a smile to my face.

I have known Philo my whole life and whoever wrote his Obituary said it all. As a young kid I always looked forward to seeing him in my family home in Solvang with my Father, Mother and Brothers. I always found Philo to be the best of the best with a big heart and a very gentle way about him. I was always drawn to him in a room of people and I always got the same response, a great big smile and a very genuine handshake. My Father Jim Bentley loved Philo and so did the rest of my family. Thank you Philo for being in our lives we are all better for it.

Although only somewhat acquainted with Philo, we will always remember his warm smile. He was always smiling! At the Kingdom Hall we know that he was refelecting the joy of being there among his true friends, of whom he had many! We look to see him again.
