Sophie Gabriel Obituary
1920 - 2010
Sophie Gabriel, 90, of Santa Maria, went home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2010 where she was also reunited with her beloved husband, William Gabriel.
Sophie was born and raised in Akron, Ohio to Steve and Anna Shivick. She met and married the love of her life William Gabriel June 19, 1948. She was a kind and generous woman who loved her family dearly.
Sophie is survived by her daughter Diane Foster; her three granddaughters: Heather Foster, Christina Foster-Price and Michelle Foster: and her four great-grandchildren: Angelina, Chloe, Arthur and David all of whom loved her with all of their hearts.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Santa Maria Cemetery with Rev. Alidor Mikobi officiating.
Arrangements are in the care of Magner-Maloney Funeral Home and Crematory. Sympathy notes and words of support may be expressed at www.magnermaloney.com.
