Victor Salazar Garcia, Jr.
1985 – 2010
Victor Salazar Garcia, 25, of Nipomo, passed away on November 25, 2010. Victor was born April 27, 1985 in Santa Maria.
Victor, Victor, Victor what can we say. He was a big teddy bear with the biggest Heart! He was misunderstood by many, but those who were close to him new the wonderful, kind person he was. He always needed to surround himself with family and laughter and he brought laughter to all. He had a very close relationship with his mother. They were best friends and did everything together. His father taught him to be a hard working man, sisters showed him unconditional love, his son and nephews loved him to pieces. Victor's son Victor Salazar Garcia III meant the world to him and was a very important part of his life. He loved him so much!! He had a very close connection with his cousins Bobby Ramos, Jr., Ramon Ramos, James Gomez and Thomas Olvera. They did everything together and they were brothers!! Victor will always be in our hearts loved by all and we will see him again in PARADISE.
Victor is survived by his father Victor Salazar Garcia, Sr. and mother Sophia Ann Garcia, sisters; Annamarie Morales (Alex Sr.) and Angie Marie Garcia, his son Victor Salazar Garcia III, nephews; Joseph, Alex Jr., Adam, Andrew, Isaiah and Ayden. He is also survived by his maternal Nana Marylou Gomez, his paternal grandparents Ramon and Janie Garcia and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Victor was preceded in death by his Tata Jose C. Gomez. Victor was his Tata's Camp eon (champion). Jehovah God will keep him in his memory. And He said to him: "Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise." LUKE 23:43

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...

but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.

Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,

God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.

I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.

There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.

And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.

God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years

because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.

Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.

But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.

I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;

but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,

knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,

just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;

I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,

remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Bubba-
My childhood memories of our family get togethers from over the years are all fresh in my mind. It feels like just yesterday you were teaching me how to go off of bike jumps, playing on the neighbor’s zip line, and hanging out with all of our cousins. I can still see your smile and hear your laugh. That is one thing I know I'll never forget. It always put a smile on my face or made me laugh. Jason remembers the first time he met you, you told him to take care of your little cousin, and then you laughed. He came to me that night and said, your cousin Victor is funny.

Though we are very different, you always remained loving and caring. Always a family man. We will miss you very much! Especially come the holidays, things just wont be the same without you. The last memory I have of you is you playing with my son Jay. Watching him to make sure he wasn't getting into trouble or getting hurt. The smile on your face was priceless and I could only think of how much you've missed your son. I love you Bubba and I hope to see your smile and hear your laugh again one day.

Its still so unbelievable to me that you are gone. But now I know you are looking down on us like a guardian angel. You will NEVER be forgotten and the memories that we have of you will remain FOREVER in our hearts. No one could ever replace that smile and the way you would make your face when you laughed. Until we meet again, I LOVE YOU VICTOR, may you rest in peace.
Love always,
cousin Danielle & Raymond

To the Garcia & Gomez families - I have no words for your loss...just many tears. We have been close for many many years, you are my family and your loss is a loss to me; as well. I love you all very much and there are not enough words to express how sad and hurt I am over the loss of Victor. I will always remember his kind heart, beautiful smile...beautiful person. Keep the happy memories you have of Victor till you are reunited with him again. Your family bond is so strong, supportive and genuine. That alone will get you through this difficult time; along with your prayers. I love you all very much. Always, I am thinking of you; And always I am here for you.
