SARATOGA SPRINGS - Marie J. Drew, 74, a resident of Wilton Mobile Park on Louden Road, died Friday, July 15, 2011, at her home after an extended illness.
Born June 23, 1937, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Alice Winney and widow of John Drew.
She had been employed for many years at Sherwood Medical in Argyle and had also been employed by Hudson Pulp & Paper in Thomson.
Her enjoyments in life included online games, card playing and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, Vaughn, Ronald, Nathan and Robert Winney; sister, Diane Winney; and longtime companion, Stanley Bradley.
Survivors include her daughter, Sue (Philip) Mabb of Saratoga Springs; her son, Michael (Sheila) Drew of Rineyville, Ky.; four grandchildren, John and Jeremy Mabb, Samantha (Brian) Browning and Felicia Drew; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Brianna Browning; sisters, Leona Adams, Bertha Sumner, Ethel Millington and Tina Rivers; brothers, Charles (Elaine) Winney, Anthony (Cathy) Winney, Roy Winney, Cliff Winney and Clarence Winney; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at Notre Dame-Visitation Church with the Rev. Martin Fisher officiating.
Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011, at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville.
