Dennis L. Cornell Ballston Spa - Dennis L. Cornell 66, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014. Born in Ballston Spa, June 6, 1947, he was the son of Alvah and Lena Cornell. He was a Navy veteran serving in Vietnam and was awarded a purple heart. Dennis worked at Lake Auto. He was a member of American Legion Post 234 and VFW Post 358 of Ballston Spa. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters, Eleanor Richards and Carol Donaldson; and his brothers, Charles, James, Donald, William and Frankie. Dennis is survived by his daughter, Jaime Cornell Zwicklbauer (Ken) of Delmar; grandchildren, Emma and Max; brother, Alvah Cornell, Jr. of Ballston Spa; sisters, Sally Loya of Ballston Spa and Lillian Bush of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Factory Village Cemetery in the Spring.
