Robert A. Dillenbeck, 61, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014.
Born in Little Falls, New York, on February 2, 1953, he was the son of Albertina Dillenbeck and the late Richard Dillenbeck. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Bob was a machinist at Espey Manufacturing for over 30 years.
He enjoyed garage sales, collecting antiques and vacationing in Maine with his loving wife and best friend, Linda. Bob's favorite pastime was camping with his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his wife of 10 years, Linda; daughters, Cortney Dillenbeck (Eric Ball) of Perth, Jodi Dillenbeck of Ballston Spa, Brandee Marcotte (John Oakes) of Gansevoort and Jennifer Marcotte of Corinth; grandchildren, Owen Ball, Bradlee Ball, Makayla Mason, Ryan Mason, Devin Morris, Emily Morris, and John Oakes Jr.; mother, Albertina Dillenbeck of Ballston Spa; sisters, Bonnie Vidnansky of Ballston Spa and Kathy Lowery of Schuylerville; blood brothers, Bryan Lafreniere and Jerry Whalen; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at Armer Funeral Home Inc., 39 E. High St., Ballston Spa. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22, at the Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery on Duell Road in Schuylerville.
