Marion L. Debien Reepmeyer Clifton Park - Marion L. Debien Reepmeyer passed away on February 16th 2014 at the age of 89 after battling cancer with grace and humor for more than a year. Marion was born in Pittsfield, MA to Thomas and Lula Debien. She attended Cohoes Public Schools, Sienna College and graduated from Albany Business College. She was a 50 year resident of Boght Corners. She worked at the Boston Store in Latham, was a secretary at GE and retired from Albany Medical Center where she was an Admissions Clerk. Marion also spent one year as a Pharmacist’s Mate in the US Navy where she met lifelong friends. Marion was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Herman J. Reepmeyer. She is survived by her brother, Roland Debien of Durham, NC; four children: Tina (Anthony) Rovelli of Albany, Tom (Karen) of Chicago, Bob (Lisa) of Saratoga and Debie (Mike) Croghan of Ballston Spa; five grandchildren: Kristin, Michel, Jim, Chris and Michael; a niece, a nephew and many cousins. She enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling and gardening but most important to her was her family. She loved butterflies and flowers and one of her favorite past times was ‘people’ watching. Nana was truly one of the good people in this world. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday Morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church Old Loudon Road Latham.
