CORINTH - Richard H. Beasley, 67, formerly of Angel Road, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Born April 3, 1945, in White Plains, he was the son of Walter and Helen (Travis) Beasley.
Rich owned and operated Beasley's Lock Shop in Croton, N.Y., prior to moving to this area in 1988. Once he had settled here, he worked as a self-employed heavy equipment operator in the construction industry and owned and operated Beasley Sand and Gravel. He also developed Woodcrest Acres in Corinth.
He married Deborah Hilder on March 19, 1993, in Corinth. For many years, they had enjoyed spending the winter months at their home in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Previously, he was married to Patricia (Yusi) Beasley, with whom he had two daughters.
Rich enjoyed drag racing, playing golf, ""supervising"" many projects and spending time with his family and many friends.
He was a member of the Corinth Planning Board for numerous years and worked on beautification projects in Corinth during that time.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Walter Beasley.
Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Deborah Beasley; two daughters, Brenda Cheney and her husband, Charles Cheney IV, of Lake Luzerne and Brett Sullivan and her husband, Brian, of Hudson Falls; three grandchildren, Charles ""Chip"" Cheney V and his wife, Laura, Shawn Cheney and Allison Sullivan; two great-grandchildren, Charles Cheney VI and Kimberly Fisk; one sister, Blanche Beecher of Maryland; two brothers, Edward Beasley and his wife, Wanda, of South Carolina and William Beasley and his wife, Susan, of Pennsylvania; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Brewer Funeral Home Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne. Immediately following the calling hours, there will be a gathering of friends and family at William J. Vanrney American Legion Post 862 in Lake Luzerne.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Rich's memory be directed to a local food pantry.
