1953 - 2013 | Obituary Condolences
BALLSTON SPA - Robert R. Trevethan, 59, of Ballston Spa passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013.
Born Sept. 23, 1953, in Tacoma, Wash., he was the son of Gladys Perkins and the late Roland Trevethan.
He grew up in Shullsburg, Wis., where he was known as Rolo, and was an accomplished athlete.
Rob enjoyed camping and he was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
He had a passion for music and had an extensive record collection. He could recite a line from any movie and was a great storyteller. He enjoyed a good joke and was sometimes called Roberta by his friends.
Rob's favorite quote was "May you live as long as you want to and want to as long as you live."
Rob is survived by his children, Chelsea Beyer (Frank) of Guam and Robbie Trevethan of Saratoga Springs; his mother, Gladys Perkins (Roger) of Ballston Spa; his sister, Cathy Engels of Palmetto, Fla.; his nieces, Cassandra and Stephanie; his nephew, Jason; his great-niece, Caity; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Armer Funeral Home Inc., 39 E. High St., Ballston Spa. A service will follow at 8 p.m.
Burial will be Friday, July 12, in Rock City Falls Cemetery with a graveside service at 10 a.m.
