To Terry's Mom and family,
Terry and I were friends many years ago as girls and although we hadn't been in touch in years- I can remember her amazing laugh and phenomenal spirit. She was such a sweet, caring person. I am so sorry. This is a terrible time for your family. I wish you peace.

To Terry's family and many dear friends,

My sincerest and deepest sympathy at the loss of a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. I had the pleasure of knowing Terry for many years as her client. I followed her wherever she went, as she was the only stylist that could manage my unruly hair. Her strength and courage in the face of adversity will forever be an inspiration to me. Terry taught me to appreciate and be grateful for every single day. I will never forget her.

To those she left behind far too soon - find comfort knowing that Terry touched so many lives in such a profound and beautiful way. She is at peace now, looking down at us all with that bright and beautiful smile.

To Terry and her family: I am so very sad to hear of her death, She has been doing my hair for nine years and as I told her many times, she was the best! I'll never forget our long talks while sitting in her chair and now how sad it will be for me when I don't see her reflection smiling back at me, but now I know you are at peace along with my dear friend Terry B., who we talked about so many times. I'll miss you Terr! Love, Theresa

Terry
You were and will continue to be a source of inspiration. Even with the hand life dealt to you,you celebrated life.Your courage left me in awe of you. No matter how bad you felt physically, your smile made me smile.
Your relationship with your mother, family and friends made me realize, it's not your accomplishments people will remember,(although you accomplished miracles with my hair), I know you'd appreciate the humor, but the love you've given and received in this life.
Terry, you are at peace now,no more pain. The only pain is in the hearts of everyone you touched and left behind. I will think of you this summer as I walk the beach in Rockport, a place you spoke of visiting. Your spirit will be present in the tides of the ocean and the gentleness of the sea breezes.

Terry,
I love you and I miss you. You always had such a beautiful outlook, no matter what. You taught me so much about what's imporatant in life. I will always keep your spirit close and I will try to live my life as you lived yours. I will always cherish our times together- dinners together, a glass of wine or tea, mango salsa!, girl-talk...I will always remember your unmistakable giggle. You are truly an inspiration - your strength, beauty, true wisdom and humor. I realize that I'm crying for myself now because you are finally at peace. xoxo

Terry was an amazing woman. She was stronger than anyone I know. I have no words to express me sadness. I watched her fight for many years. I seen her ups and her downs and through it all she still managed to find a smile. She was still making us laugh in the hospital on Saturday. I do give my condolences to Terry's family. It's hard to imagin going into the salon and Terry not being there.

To Terry's (NT's) family,
In the hopital on Saturday Terry had asked us girls to write down something about her on a piece of paper and give it to her because she had something in mind that she wanted to do...time came to and end so quickly I never had the chance to give her what I wrote so I would like to share it with you:
I love you because you are who you are
which is a beautiful woman who has traveled so far
Life hasn't been fare and that we all know
but you've always stayed strong even when you were low
Your friends and your family have been blessed with your love
Now please feel no pain and fly like a dove
I will think of you always my wonderful friend
and you will stay in my heart until I see you again.

Terry Nina - beautiful friend, talented stylist, inspiring person - you had a unique style all your own; you were magnetic. You exuded a rare positivity that touched me forever. Your attitude is your legacy. I wish I could tell you how much you taught me in the 14 years I was your client and friend. I am so sad that you are not here any more, and I will always hold you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I am devastated that I was unable to see you and say goodbye. So I will tell you now, Terry – goodbye. I love you,

My dear beautiful friend Terry-this is such a lovely photo! Not long after Terry became my stylist (2002) we became fast friends. She endured so much and was so positive throughout. Terry recently expressed to me her peace knowing that her life was going to be cut short. She displayed such a strength and zest for squeezing every bit of life that she could out of her remaining time. Because of this, it was hard to believe that this day would really come. Although Terry suffers no more, all of us who knew and loved her will now live with a hole in our lives. We are all better for having known her, she was a true friend and fantastic person who touched the lives of everyone that she met! Terry-we will always keep you in our hearts!

My heart breaks for the loss of your beloved daughter and sister, Terry.
I knew Terry as my daughter was her client for many years. Terry always spoke of how much she enjoyed her mother's company on their many trips together. I remember her beautiful smile and laugh, the way she brightened the salon just being there. She will always be as close as your most cherished memory. I am so sorry for your loss.
