BALLSTON SPA - Theodore K. Curley, 73, of Ballston Spa passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013.
Born March 3, 1940, in Mahopac, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Evelyn Curley.
He was a machinist mate for the U.S. Navy, serving on nuclear submarines.
Ted worked for D&H Railroad for 37 years, retiring in 2002.
He was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Galway.
Ted was a member of the U.S. Submarine Veterans Albany-Saratoga base.
He enjoyed model railroads.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Joyce Williams and Patricia Hesslegrave.
Ted is survived by his wife, Michelle; his children, Ann McCulloch of Addison, Texas, Molly Curley of Ballston Spa, Timothy Curley of Syracuse, and Jennifer Staulters (Bob) of Ballston Spa; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2113 East St., Galway, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Burial with military honors will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery on Duell Road in Schuylerville.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Armer Funeral Home Inc., 39 E. High St., Ballston Spa.
