I was saddened to see in the local Pennysaver that Mr.Gaba had passed away. What a terrific man, I used to stop by in recent years to pick up parts for my brother while traveling to and from Johnstown to my job. He was always so wonderful to me and delivered each time" he said he'd find it if it was out there" He will be missed. He had done business with my brothers for years in the auto industry. May he Rest In Peace~ God Bless the family during this difficult time~

I just learned about Bill's passing today. I would have liked to pay respects at the memorial services
just to let you know how much it meant to share a friendship of many years with "Grabba". He was always there whenever I needed him and I will always keep fond memories of him in my heart. Dear Sara , Lori , Jim and family
I was sad to hear of Bill's passing. I would have liked to pay my respects at services but I just heard. I enjoyed the time I was able to work with Bill . He had taught me a few things as well as made me laugh often.I know he couldn't wait for me to cut my hair which he reminded me almost every day that I needed to do! I learned many polka songs as well on Saturday mornings(laughing). After a few months I was even singing some! I am grateful Wayne R. introduced me to all of you. He was a great man who was willing to help anyone at ANYTIME even outside of his job. He will be missed. Very sorry for Your loss. You are in my thoughts.

Gaba quickly became someone I looked up to as I got to know him better. He was a wealth of knowledge when it came to anything about old cars. I met him with my dad when I was looking for a part to my 1964 Chrysler Newport. It's my first car and I later found out he had the same one. Gaba constantly gave me advice on where to find parts or just overall advice when it came to my car. He was always very nice and I was always so excited to bring my car to him as it progressed. I was going to come visit this week, but I guess I can't do that now. I'll always remember his help and the kindness he always extended toward my father and I. I guess he will be able to see the end result of my car from a higher place, but i'll miss hearing his sarcastic/funny comments.

Mr. Gaba was one of those people who did his job, but always gave a little extra. He managed to cram myself and my 3 girls into the cab of his truck and towed us to Ryans garage because I didn't have a ride at the moment and he didn't want us waiting.Hearing different family stories from Deb and Jim let me believe he was a kindhearted , hardworking man who loved his family. He will be greatly missed in this town. I know his family......it will still be the same! With heartfelt condolences , Amy and Brian Wilcox and family

Bill, you have always made us feel like your own grandchildren. We are grateful to have known you and will always be appreciative for all that you and Sara have done for us over the last 22 yrs. With that said, it is soo surreal that you are gone and seeing you in that casket was one of the hardest things that I personally have done since Gramps left us. Sara, Jimmy, Lori, Andy, and mom will be looked after - there is no need to worry about them, I got ya covered! May you rest in peace - yes, rest; it's something that people of 75 yrs usually do. Not you though, you would have kept going even if you couldn't have walked anymore. We are so grateful that you parished doing what you loved, and that you did not suffer. As a family, we could not have asked for more. We will miss you Bill.
