Leo Paul Duggan Bolton Landing - Leo Paul Duggan, 84, a resident of Bolton Landing, passed away on Saturday, June 7th at the Glens Falls Hospital. Born on June 18, 1929 in Warrensburg, he was the son of the late Paul and Dorothy (Harpp) Duggan. Leo served in the United States Army during the Korean War. In his earlier years he was a butcher at the City Market and also at Grand Union. After many years of service he retired from the Bolton Central School District and was well known in the Bolton area for maintenance work and lending a helping hand to anyone in need . Leo was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. He was a lifetime member of the Bolton Fire Department and a past member of Bolton American Legion. Leo loved to hunt and fish. His wonderful sense of humor, his storytelling and jokes will be missed. Besides his parents he is also predeceased by his brother, John R. Duggan and his sister, Adah Emily (Duggan) Perry. Surviving Leo is his loving wife of 61 years, Marjorie (Ross) Duggan of Bolton Landing; his daughter, Regina Muscatello of Bolton Landing; his son, Michael Duggan and his wife, Pamela of Hadley; his grandchildren, Thomas Muscatello of London and Anthony Muscatello of Glens Falls and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am Friday, June 13, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 7 Goodman St, Bolton Landing. Burial will follow mass at Bolton Rural Cemetery in Bolton Landing. Family and friends are invited to and may call from 3pm to 7pm on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Regan Denny Stafford Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Leo’s memory to the Bolton EMS, PO Box 1054, Bolton Landing, NY 12814 or the Bolton Fire Department, 5003 Lake Shore Drive, Bolton Landing, NY 12814. The family would like to thank the staff at Glens Falls Hospital, CCU, Tower 2 unit for there compassion and care of Leo and the Bolton Emergency Squad.
