Annie Del Booth Kight

Mrs. Annie Del Booth Kight - LYONS - Mrs. Annie Del Booth Kight, 105, of Lyons, Ga., passed away Monday, February 15, 2010. The Johnson County native lived most of her life in Toombs County. She was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Kight was an avid piano player, who also loved to sew, cook, and read. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Charlie Kight; two infant children, Kenneth and Hilda Clyde Kight; granddaughter, Kathryn Partin; great grandson, Jason Kight; and sisters, Irene Polk and Bill Mosley. Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Betty (Woodrow) Pittman of Lyons, Ga. and her son and daughter in law, Charles (Eloise) Kight of Jacksonville, Fl. Also surviving are five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2010, from 6pm-9pm at Murchison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 2pm at Rocky Creek Baptist Church with Reverend F. M. Henderson and Reverend Bill Black officiating. Burial will follow at Hardens Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
