David Bias

Deacon David Jack Bias - SAVANNAH - Deacon David Jack Bias, 78 entered eternal rest on August 13, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was a native of Fort Valley, GA. He was a graduate of Beach High School. He was a member of Fair Mount Baptist Church where he served on the deacon board. He retired in 1989 from the City of Savannah Water Works Department after 26 years of service. He later was employed by the Senior Citizen Service, where he was a driver for Meals on Wheels. He is survived by his wife, Kelly D. Claxton Bias of Jacksonville, two daughters, Patricia Johnson-Washington and Beverly Bias both of Savannah; four sons: Dennis Johnson, Tyrone Bias and Leonard Bias, all of Savannah and Eric Bias (Angel) of Highpoint, NC; step-children, Willie Green, Ricky Green and Angel Claxton, all of Savannah; one sister; Sarah Ann Lee of Detroit, Michigan, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: 12 Noon Saturday, August 30, 2014 Fair Mount Baptist Church, 721 East Bolton Street.
