William Belford(1945 - 2014)

William E. M. Belford - SAVANNAH - William E. M. Belford, also known as Dub passed away peacefully at home with his daughter by his side. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi on August 7, 1945 and lived in Savannah most of his life. A graduate of UGA, he also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cary, and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and James Forrest, his grandson Taylor, also by his son and daughter-in-law Casey and Sarah Horan, and grandchildren Emily, Isaac, and Leah. Cremation has already taken place and the family will scatter the ashes privately. Remembrances may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research or PAWS of Savannah.
