My condolences to Bunkies family. My name is Susan Richardson Steinhafel. I am the daughter of Tina Richardson who was the dance instructor of Bunkie in Salt Lake City, Utah. (Veloz and Yolanda Dance Studio)I was reviewing some old photos and came across this article. I thought I would look up his name and sadly came across his obituary. I remember him fondly and recall him and the friendship my family had with his. We visited his childhood home once and as a 7 year old was fascinated by his cool room with a bunk bed. I am sure my Mother would be sad as well. She and my father were excellent teachers and adored Bunkie. Both my parents have passed away. I know they would want you to see this photo of a newspaper article that we have kept all these years.

I only knew Rob for a few years and I got to know him as a kind and gentle man that loved his life partner Marilyn, a dear friend of mine. I will miss seeing him holding Sammy and greeting me with a big smile when I would stop by for a visit. Marilyn, you and the family are in my prayers for comfort during this difficult time in your lives.

I was friends with Robin (Bunkie) from elementary school years. He lived next door to Kelly Astle. I was there many times. When he moved out of state to pursue his dancing skills, we lost contact. Always was a great guy. We will miss him.

"Bunky" and I were dance partners and friends for several years while at BYU. He had an infectious smile and laugh and his vibrant personality endeared himself to all who knew him. May your memories of him bring you peace and comfort.

Rob was a dear friend. We made through many good times and some rough ones. I'll never forget our time together; whether it was on the dance floor learning steps, putting a routine together, or competing. I was very happy to be one of your 1st students when you came to Sav. Rest in peace my dear friend. You will always be in my heart.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family members of Mr. Stockdale. Our hearts are heavy with sadness over the loss of our dear friend. It was an honor to have been chosen as his dialysis provider. We will always remember his kind ways, and think of him, still dancing on-ward.
