Cassandra Cail Thomasson, 69, passed away in Hospice on Sunday, June 10, 2018, after a long illness. She was raised in Savannah, Georgia, the oldest of four children. As a graduate of Savannah High School, Cass went on to work professionally for over 50 years in the law firm of Cail and Cail with many of those years being served as a paralegal, retiring in 2017.

Filling the role o£ wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was the joy of her life. Cass loved her family deeply and gave of herself sacrificially for the good of her family and loved ones.

In addition to serving her family and community, Cass was active in ministry at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Kenneth H. and Grayce B. Cail.

Cass is survived by her husband, Bill, who served by her side through 21 years of marriage; son, Jimmy Cooler, Jr. (Michelle); daughter, Caroleigh Horton (Marcus); step­ son, David Thomasson (Sheila); step-daughter, Jennifer Baker; grandchildren, Ashley, Trey, and Mason Cooler; step-grandchild, Ella Grace Sines Thomasson; great-grandsons, Michael and Levi Cooler; sister, Kennette Youmans (Ken); and brothers Kenneth H. "Chip" Cail, Jr. (Angie) and Brooks Cail (Suzy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church.
