Mr. Charles Aiken DeLoach, Jr. - HAMPTON, SC - Mr. Charles Aiken DeLoach, Jr., 63, of 108 Plywood Street, Hampton, SC, left this world for Heaven on Monday, September 16, 2013. He was born January 12, 1950 in Varnville, SC, to the late Charles Aiken DeLoach and the late Annie Beatrice Crosby DeLoach. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. Mr. DeLoach owned and operated DeLoach Service Station/DeLoach Auto Sales for 43 years, from 1970 until God called him home. His favorite pastime was spending time with his five grandchildren, his family and friends. He enjoyed car sales, auctions, camping, and having cookouts. Most of all, he enjoyed working in his business, always serving his customers with a smile. He was a true Southern Gentleman, and was loved by all that knew him. His special friend was his devoted cat, Tom. Mr. DeLoach was a member of West End Baptist Church. Mr. DeLoach leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Amanda DeLoach Brown and her husband, Gabriel Vance Brown of Campobello, SC; 5 grandchildren, Connor Aiken Brown, Caroline Elizabeth Brown, Parker Vance Brown, Alexis Brooke Lexi DeLoach and Emily Elizabeth DeLoach; daughter-in-law, Jessica Cotterman DeLoach of Walterboro; sisters Roma Muller and her husband Johnny of Gilbert, SC, Alice Sales and her husband Sandy of Aiken, SC, and Krissie Taylor and her husband Broadus of Leesville, SC; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Aiken Chuck DeLoach, III. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 pm, Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery, Varnville, SC. Officiating will be Reverend Barney Tuten and Reverend Johnny Muller. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 6 until 9 pm at THE BRICE W.
