My condolences go out to Derrik's family.

I trust that Derrick's faith has only grown through the last couple of years. That gives us reason, in this difficult time, to rejoice, because to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

That being the case, Derrick, right now, is not only with the Lord, he's holding his precious daughter in his arms. Derrick is home
.

Praise the Lord

Family, Friends and loved ones,
Derrick was a wonderful and very much loved young man. He will truly be missed. Derrick was unique his own special way. He and Angie spent the last year side by side, she never left him for one second. They were so much in love. They togther as a couple were a prime example of the phrase being in love unconditionally. God put those two together for a reason, and I think we all have alot to learn from this. Cherish each other, love one another, and always help the next person; just as Derrick would. Derrick touched my life very deeply. He was a very special friend to me.
He can now be reunited with his daughter, and the rest of us when it is our time, but believe one thing.
Derrick always wanted everyone happy and very much loved. He taught me alot in life. FOR THAT I OWE HIM.
Words can never express enough sorrow and or happyness that he bought into our lives. May he live on in our hearts. God bless the family, Angie who stood by his side day and night all the way til the end, and friends.
With much sorrow and sadness
Love Deborah Priddy.
