This was the best man GOD put on earth. granted he was a man with interest, he was sill a man after God's Own Heart.

I saw my Father every Friday no matter what the circumstances. I felt so save save when Father was around.it's hard to explain, but Father was a respectable giant of a man. Father loved silently in the form of forgiveness. I cried everyday for three months because I didn't get the chance to say goodbye. One night in Texas, Father said, bye Pat in a soft gentle voice and I haven't grieved his transition never again. For anyone he fathered, you were blessed to be cared for by cousin Sonny.

In the 25 years we have been in McIntosh County, Bunny and I cannot think of or even imagine a greater friend than "Mr. Sonny". I will miss his cheerful waves on the river so very much. We pray for his loving family in their grief, and remember with gratitude the wonderful days on the waters.

Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
