Jimmy Friendly Kelvin McBrayer (1953-2013) - GUYTON - Jimmy Friendly Kelvin McBrayer passed away Monday, June 3, 2013. Memorial service: 7 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Riggs Funeral Home in Guyton, Georgia. Jimmy was born December 17, 1953 in Yuma, Arizona to Mary and Don McBrayer. Jimmy was a graduate of O.D. Wyatt High School in Fort Worth. He married Anita Gayle Jones on August 5, 1973. He began his career as a machinist and retired as an aerospace engineer in Savannah, Georgia. Some of the things he loved most were fishing, driving his Corvette, watching old Westerns, the Sy-fy channel, and spending time with his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Savannah. Survivors: His mother, Mary McDougal; brothers, Clarence McBrayer and Jerry McBrayer; wife, Gayle McBrayer; daughter, Jennifer Peacock; son, Daniel McBrayer and grandchildren, Megan Peacock, Emily McBrayer, Steven Peacock, Emily Peacock, Dallas McBrayer and Memphis McBrayer.
